Your guide to using PCON to build a deeper connection with your pet.

Getting Started with PCON

How do I create an account?

Download PCON from the App Store or Google Play and follow the on-screen prompts to sign up with your email address. You'll then be guided to create a profile for your pet, including their name, breed, and age.

How do I perform my first analysis?

Navigate to the "Analyze" tab. Grant the app permission to use your camera and microphone. Point your phone's camera towards your pet, ensuring they are clearly in the frame. Tap the record button to begin a short session (15-30 seconds is recommended).

Understanding the Analysis

How does the AI detect my pet's mood?

Our AI has been trained on a vast dataset of animal vocalizations (barks, meows, purrs) and body language cues (tail position, ear posture, facial expressions). It analyzes the video and audio from your session to identify patterns associated with various emotional states.

What moods can PCON detect?

PCON can identify a range of common emotional states, including Happy, Calm, Anxious, Playful, and Sleepy. As our AI learns, we will be adding more nuanced emotions.

How are the music playlists generated?

Based on the detected mood, PCON selects music from a scientifically curated library. For example, a calm pet might get slow, classical music, while a playful pet might get a more upbeat, energetic playlist.

Features

Mood History:

Every saved session is logged in your pet's Profile (viewable on the History page). You can view charts and timelines to see their mood patterns over days, weeks, or months.

Vet Health Summary:

In the Health tab, you can generate an AI-powered summary of your pet's mood trends over a selected period. This PDF can be easily shared with your veterinarian to provide them with behavioral insights. This is not a diagnostic tool.

Sharing:

Love a particular playlist or a cute clip of your pet? You can easily copy a link to the session to share with friends and family from the Analyze page or History page.
